|
Involvement of the stomach by tuberculosis is rare, occurring in about 0.3 to 2.3 per cent of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Clinically, the diagnosis of gastric tuberculosis can never be established. Gastric symptoms may be absent or the
symptoms may be overshadowed by a concomitant organic gastric disorder. and a diagnosis without confirmation by histologic study is impossible. We had experienced a 22 year old women whose preoperative diagnosis was submucosal tumor in stomach
but
she
was gastric tuberculosis. So we report it with some review of articles.
